This is a private reference site, not a Williamson County office. We cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, pull official booking records, or act for a jail or court. Please use the correct government channel below for an official answer.
Williamson County Records Contacts
For a county booking, incident report, arrest report, or incarceration verification, begin with the Williamson County Sheriff's Office or the County Records Center. The office that created the record controls its release. These are request and contact routes, not a promise of a real-time custody result.
Williamson County Sheriff's Office
508 S Rock Street
Georgetown, TX 78626
Main: 512-943-1300
Non-emergency: 512-864-8282
Fax: 512-943-1444
Williamson County Jail
306 W 4th Street
Georgetown, TX 78626
Jail booking desk: 512-943-1365
For arrest-report or incarceration-verification questions, callers may use the main number and select option 5. The Public Records Center says some verbal requests can be handled more quickly, but a written request is the better route for a needed copy, a booking photograph if held, or the formal protections of the Texas Public Information Act.
Written Record Requests
Use the Williamson County Public Records Center and its written-request instructions for a precise request. The county form is optional. A written request may be sent through the designated email channel, by fax at 512-943-1444, by mail, in person, or through the county process.
Include the full name, date range, booking number if known, arresting agency, record sought, and a request for any public portion with lawful redactions. A formal response generally comes within ten business days through release, a time estimate, a clarification request, a withholding notice, or an Attorney General ruling or request for one. That timing does not guarantee release of a photograph or completion of a search.
Choose the Right Custody Channel
County jail custody, a city arrest report, a court case, and state or federal custody are separate systems. The home page explains the county roster and official records sequence; use the source that matches the question.
- Use the Williamson County Records Inquiry for a county jail name or booking-number search.
- Use the Williamson County court lookup for case status or disposition after a booking.
- For a city arrest report, contact the arresting police department. Round Rock, Georgetown, and Cedar Park may hold the incident record separately from WCSO.
- Use TDCJ offender search only for Texas state custody or supervision, not a recent Williamson County booking. TDCJ's public email service does not provide photographs.
- Use the BOP locator only for federal inmates, and the ICE detainee locator only for current ICE or certain CBP custody. Neither is a county jail roster.
